Niels Bohr was professor at the University of Copenhagen from 1916
- 1956.
In 1913 he put forward 2 revolutionary hypothesises:
- The atoms exist in a row of states with an exact definition
of energy.
- The atoms can change from one state to a state with lower
energy while it is sending out radiation, for instance light.
In 1922 Niels Bohr got the Nobel-price.
