As the years passed the Germans demands more and more from Denmark
and at last it was all to much also for the government.

August the 29th 1943, the Germans attacked the Danish military. A few
ships from the navy escaped to Sweden and what was left of the navy
destroyed themselves.
The government resigned and now Denmark was finally a part of the allied.

A few times during the rest of the occupation allied
airforces bombed selected spots in Denmark. |
| Because of the German censorship of every newspaper
and the broadcasting, people were reading papers from the Resistance
and/or listened to the Swedish or English radio. |
