The Sights

Allinge-Sandvig is 2 cities, which have grown together. The city is the northernmost city of Bornholm and is placed in one of the most beautiful areas of the island. Near the cities, at the northwest point of Bornholm, is the largest ruin in the northern Europe.

Hammershus, was a castle build in the 13th century and was very important for Denmark for the next 300 years. In 1743 it was decided to give up Hammershus, and a demolition began. In 1822 the castle was protected with what was left at that time.

Museums

Moseløkken Stenbrudsmuseum A museum about quarry, which can only be found in Denmark on the island Bornholm.
