The Sights
At a very beatiful place at a strait is the city Svendborg.
The city is a good place to begin looking at the southern part of Funen and the many small islands at the south.
Svendborg has some beautiful old houses, where a house from 1570 is a must to see.
In the east of the city is a place called Christiansminde, which is a wonderful relaxing spot, where you can take a trip by small boats, which are sailing on the strait.
Museums
Over 350 years ago King Christian IV let built the castle for his son Valdemar Christian.
The castle is today one of the most beautiful Danish castles you can visit.
