One of the most common coins coined during the reign of king Christian
5. is the II (2) Skilling coin, which was coined in 1676 and 1677.
There were made many different dies for the coins, and you can find
the coins with many minor differences. for instance the hearts of the
Danish shield are placed differently, and at some coins the hearts are
only small dots.
The coins are made of silver and are rather thin - the quantity of
silver used in the coins had the same value as the face value of the
coins.
