Commerative Stamps
A important national symbol for the Danes, "Dybbøl Mølle" - "The
Mill of Dybbøl" was used for a series of stamps issued in 1937.
The extra charge on the stamps was used for the reunited Slesvig,
which returned from Germany to Denmark in 1920.
The stamps were also sold in book of stamps, which had a price
of 2 Kroner. To make the book of stamps, the stamps were printed
together with the usual stamps with the same value.
A little series was issued in May 1937 to celebrate king Christian
X. had been king of Denmark for 25 years.
An exhibition of stamps took place at Slagelse, a city in Denmark.
