Once in a year a private steamship company was the only connection
between Thule and Denmark. In 1935 a little series of stamps were
issued to be used at the mail transported by the steamship company.
The stamps from Thule were not approved by the any postal services
in the world so any mail should also have stamps from Denmark
if it should be sent to some other place than the ship called
at.
In 1936 one more stamp in the series was issued. This stamp is
the last one, which the old stamp printing bureau in Denmark had
printed.
