The Sights

Near the mouth of the only river of Denmark, Gudenaa, the city of Randers was founded in 1080 AC.

Randers is only 40 km - 10 Miles north of the 'capital' of Jutland, Århus. Randers is a very good starting point for canoeing to Silkeborg.

At the center of the city are some old half-timbered houses from the 17th century, and at the town square is a very beautiful baroque building from the 18th century, which is the city hall.
