In 1771 a couple of coins were issued.
The 1 Skilling is a coin, which was made in over 55,000,000 copies
and for a long time it was a Danish coin, which was made in most copies. It
would take about 200 years before a Danish coin was made in more copies.
The coin was coined at Altona (today in Germany), Kongsberg (today
in Norway), and in Copenhagen. The value of the copper was equal to
the coins face-value.
In 1779 the 1 Skilling coin was made of silver and became small and
thin.
Even Denmark was at war in 1807 a 2 Skilling coin was minted in silver.
