The ferry line between Korsør (Zealand) and Nyborg (Funen) was the most important railway ferry line in Denmark.

The line was established in 1883 with two ferries named after the cities 'Korsør' and 'Nyborg'. The ferries were both paddle steamers built in Sweden. The ferries were the first in Denmark to have electric light installed, which was a sensation.
