In 1965 the postal rates were increased about 35 percent since
the last change of rates in 1963.
Not many people who are collecting stamps have a common letter
in there collection. It is possible that in the future the postal
mails from the 20th century will be more valueable than the postal
mails from the 19th century.
Commerative Stamps
The happy child is issued to make people giving some money to
the Childrens Welfare Association, which they could from the 21st
of October 1965.
In 1966 the stamps are for the Red Cross and are showing the
name of the Red Cross in several different languages.
In 1966 a nationwide collection for refugees took place - 3 stamps
with a surplus were issued.
The last one of the series about Danish preservation was issued
in 1966 and is showing a burial mound made about 2,500 BC in Jutland.
