The cars were all running by using accumulators, which were recharging by the terminis. May the 1st 1897 the cars began their ordinary runnings.

September the 19th 1899 the very first real trolley line began to run. It was going from Frederiksberg Runddel to Nørrebros Runddel.

It was a private company Frederiksberg Sporveje, which was running the line.

The cars the company used were double-deckers, and in the summertime the upstairs floor was in demand.
