The beginning of line no. 1 took place in 1863, where an English
company built the first part of the line.
When the 8 lines of the streetcar company became numbered in 1902,
it was after the importance of the line. A line with a lower figure
had the right of way over lines with a higher figure.
Line no. 1 was the first streetcar line in the city of Copenhagen,
which got electrified.
In 1930 The streetcar company had built a new type of streetcars,
and line no. 1 was the first to use these new streetcars.
