A Rhodesian Ridgeback has the strength, the intelligence, and the courage to tackle the lion. Our dog knows it, and that is why she expects people to treat her like a queen. The very first picture of her, was taken when she was about 7 weeks old. Already when she was so young she was a kind of proud of herself! One rainy day in October 1989 she was taken away from her parents. She was placed on a carpet in the backseat of the car. She traveled over 350 kilometers - about 220 miles - to her new home.

That day she was scared of all the noise from cars driving by. She suddenly remembered how silent there was at her former home - but now she stands out in the rain, waiting for her new people, who are buing something to eat for the rest of the trip.

Like a little baby the sounds from the car, make her falling asleep - suddenly there was a new sound, the sound from a ferry. The daughter of her new family took her out of the car and carried her up to the restaurant, where her new people got something to eat, and the little dog only got some water.
