A trip from Zealand to Funen lasted over an hour, and as soon as the
train was on board, most people were going to the restaurant for dinner
or lunch.

As new ships were built the restaurants became larger and more modern.

Many people were drinking coffee at the 1 hour and 15 minutes long
voyage - that coffee became famous all over Denmark, named "Storebæltskaffe"
- "Coffee of the Great Belt", because it never was what people expected
it to be - or maybe it was because people should have something to talk
about?
