The History of Danish Railways 1875 - 1899

In 1880 the railroads on Zealand became government-owned like the railroads in Jutland and Funen.

In the next years the railroads are being enlarged and the railroads on Zealand and the rest of Denmark are connected in 1883, where a railroadferry began its operations between Korsør (Zealand) and Nyborg (Funen).

Every place in Denmark wanted their own railroad and for planning, and set of laws were made in 1894, 1908, and 1918. The laws were specific about every railroad that should be made from private to government-owned.
