In 1905 the series with small values were replaced by what should
be the the second eldest series of stamps in the world, which
are still in use. Only a series of stamps from Norway are older.
In 1906 Denmark got a new king - king Frederik 8 - who was king
of Denmark from 1906 to 1912. The daily postage stamps were changed
to have the portrait of the new king.
Special Stamps
From 1907 to 1916 a series of stamps were in use for payment
for newspaper mailed by the Postal Service. Some of the stamps
have some odd values.
