Denmark was neutral during the first world war (1914-1918), and
to defend the Danish neutrality a large numbers of soldiers were
drafted. Once a week every soldier got a free post card and from
1917 on a stamp for a post card or a post letter.
The cards were overprinted with "SB", which stands for "SoldaterBrev"
- "SoldierLetter".
