Commerative Stamps

To celebrate Denmark has been a kingdom for 1,000 years, a beautiful series of commerative stamps began to be issued in 1953.

In 1954 it was time for a celebration. The Danish Telegraph was founded 100 years ago.

King Frederik V is reproduced at the stamp from 1954 issued beause of the Danish Academy of Fine Arts 200 years jubilee.
