Some adjustments of the postal rates were made in 1975, where
the rate for a normal letter for other contries than a Scandinavian
one were increased to 130 Øre. Since 1905 the blue color has been
signaling the rate for a letter mailed to another contry.
Commerative Stamps
The United Nations held a conference in Copenhagen because of
the United Nations Womens Year in 1975. The stamp has a portrait
of the Queen of Denmark.
At the Royal Copenhagen, a Danish factory, is mading porcelain
and china. The porcelain showed on the 50 and 60 Øre stamps are
the "Flora Danica" and on the 130 Øre stamp it is the Blue Fluted,
Full Lace porcelain.
A little series of stamps with old Danish buildings, was issued
because of the Year of Architectural Heritage (1975).
