Commerative Stamps

In 1975 the second series of stamps about a Danish province were issued. The 4 stamps are showing places around Southern Jutland.

4 stamps with pictures of Danish animals, which are in danger for being wiped out, are issued later in 1975 .

The second Danish miniature sheet of stamps was issued in November 1975 because of a stamp exhibition in 1976.

In 1976 4 postage stamps were issued to celebrate the 200 years aniversary of the United States of Americas declaration of independence. The stamps are showing Danish vessels, which had traveled to America. The eldest is a viking-ship from about 1,000 years ago.
