1977 brought a new increament of the the postal rates, this time about 15 percent. The normal letter rate was now 120 Øre.

For the first time since 1932 stamps in different colors were printed together for use in books of stamps.

Commerative Stamps

The 5 Nordic countries, Denmark, Finland (Suomi), Iceland, Norway, and Sweden issued a new common series of stamps.

1977's Europe stamps are with landscapes from Denmark.

In 1977 the fourth series of stamps about a Danish province were issued. At the 4 stamps are shown places down south in Jutland.
