Because of increasing of the postal rates a few stamps with the
portrait of king Frederik IX were issued.
Commerative Stamps
In 1963 it was 50 years ago the Dane Niels Bohr made a theory
about the atoms - the event was celebrated by issuing stamps both
in Denmark and in Greenland
with the portrait of the professor.
Samuel Petrus Kleinschmidt was born in Greenland 1814. He was
the founder of the way to write the language of the Grenlandic
people.
During 1966 - 1969 3 beautiful stamps were illustrating legends
from Greenland.

Two greenlandic children are wandering up in the Roundtower in

King Frederik 9. while he was king of Denmark and Greenland was
issued.
