In 1885 the line was established as a horsedriven streetcar line.
The company running the line was called "Sølvgadens Sporvei".
At the beginning of the 20th Century, the company became a part
of "De Kjøbenhavnske Sporveje".
Line no. 10 was the last but one in Copenhagen of the old horsedriven
streetcar lines, before it was changed to be an electric streetcar
line in 1905.

The last day for the line to be a streetcar line was October
the 13th 1968.
The nickname of the line was:
The Swede because the number of the line were blue
