Line no. 13 had its ancestor in a horse driven streetcar line from
1868, which was closed in 1903.
12 years should pass before the line was reopened, this time as
an electric line in 1915.
The line was not a main line, so it became one of the first streetcar
lines, which was closed refering to a plan made in 1960 about the
future of the streetcars of Copenhagen.
|
The last day for the line to be a streetcar line was October
the 31st 1964.
The nickname of the line was:
The Box on the Ear Streetcar because the line was running
through areas of Copenhagen, where people were easy to loose
their temper.
